PRAYING PARTNERS # 24

(May 2013)

(Newsletter of South East Asia Bible College, Yangon, Myanmar)

Dear Praying partners,

Thank you so much for your prayers for the Summer Bible Camps held in four different places in last month April, 2013.

Summer Bible Camp at Sanchaung, Yangon: The Summer Bible Camp was held at Sanchaung, Yangon from April 11-15, 2013. The camp was attended by over 70 from Yangon, Delta area, Pyi, and Magwe Division. All campers were divided into two groups (born-again believers & unbelievers). I had an opportunity of sharing and teaching about the Salvation message to 15 unbelievers for two days (April 11-12). Out of 15, thirteen of them are from Buddhist background. By God’s grace, all of them came to realize that they were sinners by birth and have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Psalm 51:5., Rom. 3:23) and they had to pay the wages of their sin (Rom. 6:23). However, when they realized that Jesus Christ paid all the penalty of their sins (John 19:30) and cleansed all their sins by His shedding blood (1 John 1:7), they all accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord on April 12, 2013. Praise the Lord!

Summer Bible Camp at SEA Bible College, Yangon: Another Summer Bible Camp was held at South East Asia Bible College, Yuzana Garden City, Yangon from April 12-17, 2013. Over 100 people from Dala, Yangon, Hlaingthayar,

and Yuzana Garden City attended the camp. The campers were divided into three different groups (Sunday School, Salvation class, and Discipleship Class). By God’s grace, about 17 unbelievers accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. And true born again believers dedicated their lives to become true disciples/followers of Jesus Christ. About 15 Sunday School kids believed Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord during the camp.

Summer Bible Camp at Kyauksu village: Two faculty members (Khai Pu, Paul Suangh Za Khai and his wife Mary

Phaw Say) from SEA Bile College went to Kyauksu village, Phasawng township, Kayah State, and held a Bible Camp from April 22-24, 2013. The camp was attended by 25 people. As all of them are born again Christians, bro. Khai Pu

and Paul taught Christian Living. All attendants had been encouraged and strengthened by hearing and applying the

precious Word of God they heard from this camp.

Bible Camp at Demawsoe: A three-day Bible Camp especially for Born again believers was held at Demawsoe, Kayah State from April 26-28, 2013. Bro. Khai Pu and Paul from SEA Bile College taught Discipleship courses and also had a special counseling session for some non-Christians. They also had a Sunday School program for kids. Mr. Saw Regan (an alumni of SEA Bible College) killed his pig for the campers. It (pork) was enough for three days Bible

Camp.
